Seminar on the Dissemination and Strengthening of the Implementation of the National Policy for Ending AIDS and the Sustainability of HIV Program for 2023-2028 in Preah Sihanouk Province

On Tuesday morning, July 15, 2025, at a meeting hall of Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration, H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority presided over a seminar on the Dissemination and Strengthening of the Implementation of the National Policy for Ending AIDS and the Sustainability of the HIV Program for 2023-2028.

Participating in the seminar were: H.E. Ney Kong, Deputy Governor, Representative of the Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province, Excellencies, Lokchumteav, ladies and gentlemen Directors of Administration of the provincial, city, district, representatives of Civil Society, PLHIV and the top management of the National AIDS Authority.

The agenda of the seminar are as follows:

1. Welcome remarks by H.E. Ney Kong, Deputy Governor and Chair of Preah Sihanouk Province AIDS Committee
2. Opening speech by the Senior Minister, Chair of the National AIDS Authority
3. Presentation on Situation and Progress of HIV Response in Preah Sihanouk province by Dr. Ty Vibola, Provincial AIDS Secretariat
4. Presentation on Mechanism of Strengthening and Resource Mobilization for HIV Response at Sub-National Level by H.E. Dr. Tia Phalla, Vice-Chair of the NAA
5. Presentation on Standard Operation Procedures for the Registration and Issuing of the Health Equity Fund Cards (HEF Card) for Persons Working in the Tourism and Recreation Services of the Informal Economy by H.E. Dr. Ros Seilavath, Vice-Chair of the NAA
6. Presentation on the Submission of HIV and AIDS Response Activities in the Three-Year Rolling Investment Program and Commune Development Plan (CIP/CDP) and Practical Implementation by Dr. Huot Sereyrath, Director of the Department of Communication and Resource Mobilization of the NAA
7. Questions and Answers
