His Excellency Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, chair of the National AIDS Authority, chaired a meeting on promoting the implementation of the national policy for Ending AIDS and the sustainability of HIV program for 2023-2028.

On Tuesday morning February 3, 2026, at the Ekareach Hotel in Preah Sihanouk Province, His Excellency Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, chair of the National AIDS Authority, chaired a meeting on promoting the implementation of the National Policy for Ending AIDS and the sustainability of HIV program for 2023-2028. Invited to participate in the meeting were His Excellency, Louk jumteav, Madam, the leaders of the National AIDS Authority, the President, the Vice President of the AIDS Committee, ministries, institutions, NGOs, Cham Vinh Sangkat, Preah Sihanouk City, a total of approximately 200 people, and the AIDS Committees of the capital and provinces, the provincial secretariats, and the provincial administrations via the virtual ZOOM system, a total of approximately 218 accounts.
Objectives of the meeting:
1. Increase mutual understanding on the implementation of the National Policy to End AIDS and the Sustainability of the AIDS Program for 2023-2028
2. Determine indicators for ministries, institutions, capitals, and provinces in accordance with the tasks as stated in Appendix 1 of the National Policy to End AIDS and the Sustainability of the AIDS Program for 2023-2028
3. Increase further understanding of the AIDS Committees of ministries, institutions, capitals, and provinces to promote the implementation of Letter No. 21, NDRC, dated January 8, 2026, on measures to promote the effectiveness of the HIV and AIDS response of the Council of Ministers
4. Strengthen ownership in strengthening the multi-sectoral national response system to HIV and AIDS
5. Promote understanding and use of municipal, district, and commune funds in the work of responding to HIV and AIDS
6. Improve the HIV and AIDS response mechanism between the national and sub-national administrations.
